Content Marketing Specialist
REW is looking for an enthusiastic Content Marketing Specialist to support our growing universe of real estate content.
Are you a natural storyteller who understands what great content looks like? REW is looking for an enthusiastic Content Marketing Specialist to support our growing universe of real estate content. Reporting into the Marketing Manager, you’ll be joining REW’s Marketing team, a growing department that has done big things in the last year and has even grander plans for 2026.
Join the Real Estate Works adventure.
Real Estate Works, REW, exists to be the ultimate guide in people's real estate adventure.
We do this by building great digital experiences to deliver useful content and connect Homeseekers to the best industry partners to help them in their home search journey.
Marketing at REW.
Our content network includes REW’s proprietary content stack ‘The Guide’ to offer an original and integrated real estate content experience that compliments the REW.ca home search platform.
This content strategy forms the production and publishing arm of the REW Studio. The Marketing team is the voice of the REW brand, a way for REW to join the real estate conversation and guide Homeseekers to build their confidence for their home search journey.
What success looks like.
A strong content pipeline with regular contributors and a clear schedule.
Innovative social communities showing growth and positive sentiment.
On-going growth in key target areas, including site traffic and email subscribers.
Key Responsibilities.
Content strategy and ideation – Contribute to and maintain a content calendar with proactive ideas that align with REW’s brand, campaigns and seasonal opportunities. Identify emerging trends, brainstorm new formats, and pitch social and video ideas that engage our audiences.
Content planning and analytics – Own the content calendar and reporting process. You will track performance across social, email, and our blog using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mailchimp, and social platforms) to inform future content decisions.
Community Management - You know what makes social communities tick and you’ll be in charge of improving REW’s social channels’ health through interaction and killer content.
Publishing - Great content needs an audience and you’ll use social, email and REW’s owned channels to get in front of the right people.
Email optimization – Adopt a test and learn approach for subject lines, call-to-action and content blocks to continuously improve open and click-through rates.
Asset production - We need great social content to complement our original series and long-form assets. You don’t need to be a photographer or videographer, but you should be able to produce social assets using an iPhone and working with our in-house production team to edit and fine-tune.
Design work - You will work with our graphic designer in Figma to adapt digital assets, based on templates and sometimes your own intuition.
Paid media support – Assist with setting up, optimizing, and reporting on paid campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, and LinkedIn, in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
Key Skills & Qualifications.
3-4 years experience in marketing or communications roles.
Proven ability to manage an editorial or content calendar and meet deadlines across multiple channels.
Strong creative and strategic thinking with the ability to take initiative, pitch fresh ideas and independently move projects forward.
Comfortable analyzing content performance data (Google Analytics, native platform insights, email metrics) and translating it into actionable recommendations.
Experience with or interest in light video production, social storytelling and adapting content for different formats and audiences.
Excellent writing skills with close attention to detail and great taste.
Extremely organized with plenty of initiative.
