YOUR FIRST DAYEvery new CREW member is subjected to gets to spend an hour with our inspiring VP of Platform, Allen Moon. This isn’t just for the free coffee and witty repartee, though. It’s part of us ensuring that the CREW members we’ve fought so hard to find are welcomed into our company in the same way you would welcome someone into your home.
In the beginning, there was Allen.

Now, there is still Allen. And there’s no better person to welcome new CREW to their new home than the man who has been part of it all since REW began.
The REW you see today was built around a small table. As in literally - Allen tells us that it was a really tiny table. And he was a part of that team of dreamers who first rolled up their active wear sleeves and did what needed to be done.
This history is important. Because by the time you head home after your day one, you’ll know what we mean when we talk about True North. You’ll understand what we stand for. And you’ll know where the bathrooms are.
So sit quietly and soak it all in as Allen looks intensely towards some distant, unseen horizon, lets the steam from his coffee drift across his chiselled features, and tells the tale of how the heart of this company was formed along some very simple - and very human - principles:

Having no idea how you’re going to get it done, but getting it done.
Hellos and high-fives.
The rest of your first day will see us setting you up for success in both your role and within REW. We’ll show you around the collaborative work spaces, workstations, gym and, of course, the snack drawer (#balance).
You’ll meet your managers and teammates, and we’ll attempt to formally introduce you to the rest of the CREW with a fist-bump or two - if we can track them all down.
From there, most new CREW will have their questions and appetites sated over a company-paid lunch as we chat through the specifics of your role and all the not particularly deep or dark secrets of the company and group as a whole.

And then there is Ravneet.
You’ll also get to meet the legendary Ravneet. If you’re nice to her, she will hand over your amazing Welcome Package (including your fancy, brand-new equipment), go over your benefits and perks, run you through a few office/work policies and procedures, help you set up your aforementioned equipment, and get you connected to our team tools.
We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved thus far at REW. But we’re nothing without our people.
And we truly do want to try and be the best place in the world to work.
