Your adventure thus far at REW?

The amount of improvements we've made to our data and analytics capabilities since I joined the company is astonishing. Working alongside such a wonderful crew, I can't wait to see what we'll be able to achieve in the next few years!

But what I actually do is

I manage an amazing team of engineers and analysts who handle everything data! We work with a wide variety of data from processing raw listing data to plotting geographical data to monitoring site metrics and building visualizations. Our team is constantly improving and maintaining our data pipeline and working on exciting new projects where we can use data to enhance the user experience on our site and derive valuable insights.

Biggest real estate adventure?

We purchased our first home a couple years ago and found our house on REW.ca! The seller's agent had accidentally posted the listing in a city several hundred kilometres away from where we were searching, but thanks to REW's data validation process, the house was listed in the correct location on our site and it came up in our home search. We worked with an excellent realtor who taught us what to look out for in a home and he was later able to help my grandmother sell her home as well!

Biggest adventure, period?

I relocated across Canada twice! My partner and I moved from Southwestern Ontario to Vancouver and then back again 4 years later. Vancouver was a great place to live, but we are happy to be back closer to family for the long-term.
